Heath Ledger was found dead today in his New York home. I'm quite stunned by the news and when I first saw it hoped it wasn't true. Ledger is an award winning actor most famous for his roles in Brokeback Mountain and the upcoming Batman: The Dark Knight.
I've been a fan of his since him in the Patriot and in one of my favorite films, A Knight's Tale. He was one of the most versatile and talented actors working today, and will be sorely missed.

A really decent actor.
Hopefully the Dark Knight will serve as a fitting memorial for a truly talented individual.
He was one of the best. I don;t know what's going to happen with the third Batman film, as the Joker was an integral part of the plot. Like I said most famous deaths don't bother me but this has hit me hard. I'm quite upset as one of my dreams died tonight also. My adaptation of The Dark Knight Returns with Michael Ironside and Ledger is now no more.
Jesus, this is dreadful. Seriously shocking stuff, he was an excellent actor.
RIP, it is very sad news for someone so talented and so young to die alone like that. He will be sadly missed.
Just reading an interview with Christopher Noland and he says that the plot of The Dark Knight centers around Harvey Dent becoming Two Face, and not the Joker. There are rumours that footage of Two Face will be shown at one of the upcoming comic cons.
A real shame me thinks. His career would have snowballed after the release of the Dark Knight, a real shame. RIP
Extremely upsetting.
