Bit of a big day for me, for after waiting over a year I finally got myself a glimpse at some footage for what is one of my most anticipated films in a long, long time. Anyone who reads this site will have no doubt seen one of my previous posts regarding The Mutant Chronicles and may also know of my love of all things Thomas Jane and Ron Perlman, in a totally hetro way.
From the teaser trailer above I have to admit to being even more exited than ever. It looks absolutely fantastic and has a very old school sci fi feel to it. The absence of quality sci fi films on our screens is something which has to be redressed for no other genre offers so many possibilities for storytelling. With Dante 01, Babylon A.D. and The Mutant Chronicles 2008 is shaping up quite nicely for my genre of choice.

Sweet looking story. I think I glimpsed Devon Aoki too.
Devon Aoki is indeed in there. Have to say, I'm not a big fan of hers. She never struck me as an actress with much range and her performance in War just annoyed me, especially the stilted manner of delivering her Japanese dialogue.
She definitely doesn't have must-see acting ability. But I've liked her fighting in Sin City and DOA. She was odd and funny in DEBS; Not a great film, but a much better xter for her than in War.
Don't be knocking DEBS, it's an awesomely fun film with some truly preposterous scenes and hot girls in school uniforms. What more can you ask for? :)
No knocking here! I liked DEBS. I could have done w/o Jordana Brewster- not a fan of her, but Meagan Good is smokin' hot!
Kick-butt school girls usually gets no complaints from me.
Just looking online and it appears that The Mutant Chronicles DVD has leaked. Have to say I nearly fel off my chair when I read it, the film has yet to get a release date and all ready it's available.
