I've just seen the trailer for Watchmen and it is good. Better than good in fact, it's perhaps the greatest trailer I've ever seen. Empire posted it up, but it's been taken down now until tomorrow, so keep an eye out. It's been posted on youtube already, but I'm not going to link it, because this is worth waiting to see in a high quality version.
I honestly don't think I've been this astounded, this gobsmacked, this impressed with a trailer before. It's exceeded my expectations, and it seems like more than ever Zack Snyder is really doing the graphic novel proud.
Just how fantastic does Dr. Manhattan look? How perfect does Rorschach sound? Amazing.

Cannot wait for this tbh. The best thing ever written and directed by one of my favourite directors. I assume that after this is released noone will ever look at me and laugh when I proclaim that Snyder is one of the finest living directors.

While I would agree that it is one of the best novels ever written, I am very cautious about Snyder, but the trailer certainly lay some of my fears to rest.
